The Patio Place Purchase Agreement
Absolutely no refunds or exchanges on any and all special orders.
The Lead time on special orders varies, as short as 3 weeks and up to 4 months or more, depending on the manufacturer. The Patio Place can only provide an estimated ship time based on information provided by manufacturer and can be subject to change based on fabric backorders or other delays.
All special orders, custom cushion orders, and/or products to be held from our stock require a 100% deposit or a 50% deposit if lead time is longer than 3 months.
When special ordered merchandise is received into our warehouse, we require payment in full. If for any reason you cannot accept delivery of your merchandise, (special order or in stock), we will hold if for a period of no more than 15 days. After the 15th day there will be a monthly storage charge equal to 1.5% of the amount of the invoice.
In the highly unlikely event that a customer requests a return of product (accessories excluded) delivered or picked up from our stock, the return request must be first approved by management within 48 hours of initial delivery. If approved, there will be a $125 local pick up and a 25% restocking fee. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS. Customer is responsible for any additional delivery fees for out of area carrier fees.
Sales, clearance, and showroom display items are sold “AS IS”. Once you have taken delivery or possession, there will be NO exchange or refunds. Accessories have no warranty.
Seasonal Items may be exchanged at current selling price.
Damaged or soiled goods will not be accepted for return or exchange.
Please allow 10 business days for refunds when paying by cash or check. A check will be mailed to you for the refunded amount.
Any and all warranty claims are handled by the manufacturer through our customer service department. The Patio Place makes no promise beyond the guidelines set by the manufacturer. The Patio Place will do everything possible to provide quick and quality customer service but cannot be held responsible for delays or charges incurred due to the manufacturer’s warranty policy.
The Patio Place is not responsible for storage of sale receipts. Please keep you sales receipt as it may be necessary as proof of purchase if a warranty issue arises.
There will be a $125 fee for all local warranty inspections and/or service calls.
Nothing done in the past constitutes a “precedent.”
